For the rest of the benefits, select one below:
Speak to any temple attendant; must be of the priest path and already hold the role of priest in that temple
High Clergy roles in the religious fellowships require one to be a recognized aisling. One can become a Cleric with Clave or higher recognition.
Speak to any temple attendant; must be of the priest path and already hold the role of priest in that temple
Minister and High Priest positions require Village or higher recognition.
Noble garments are overcoat* versions of circle three, four and five path armors. They cost one, three and eight noble garment points respectively. Noble garments cannot be traded, however they can be banked. These garments can also be dyed if the noble has the tailoring skill. A noble can only receive noble garments for his or her path and gender.
( * - Prior to Deoch 175 noble garments were armors and could be traded. All were converted automatically en-masse to overcoats. Thus it is possible for non-nobles today to have noble garments if they originally possessed them at the time of conversion to overcoats.)
When speaking to Jean at Loures the terminology used for noble garments is not so clear. Here is what Jean says and what the options mean:
| Listed Option | Armor Given | Mark Cost |
|---|---|---|
| High-insight prestigious garment | Insight 86 or 97 | 8 |
| The middle prestigious garment | Insight 56-71 | 3 |
| The less prestigious garment | Insight 41 | 1 |
(Note: Peasant-nobles cannot craft the 'less', 'middle', and 'high' garments as the peasant path lacks circle three, four and five armors. They can still, however, become a Lord / Lady of the Arts.)
For eight noble garment points, one can become a Lord / Lady of the Arts. This grants a noble a legend mark and an overcoat called a Loures Lord / Loures Lady.
These overcoats are white variations of uniforms worn by Mileth and Rucesion Judges, Suomi Troupe Members and Members of the Hwarone Parliament. The Loures Lord / Lady cannot be traded, however it can be banked.
Speak to Aricin in Abel Tavern.
Any noble with Village or higher recognition (including in the Persona subject) can found their own guild. Other aislings are limited to founding fellowships.
Speak to Kalliope in the Undine Tavern
Nobles with Village or higher recognition in History, Literature, Lore or Philosophy* may learn the Goblin Secrets.
Learning the Goblin Secrets is required to complete the Rescue the Undine Children quest.
Aislings who have learned the Goblin Secrets will also have the power to summon Dubhaimaid creatures by stepping on the circle in Astrid Center.
*** Be warned – this power is directly tied to the religious faith of the aisling and will drain it for every creature summoned until gone. ***
Once you have learned the Goblin Secrets you may also teach them to other aislings. This is also done through Kalliope at the Undine Tavern.
Both you and anyone you teach will remember the Goblin Secrets for one moon ((3.5 days)). After a moon has passed they must be learned again.
(* Aislings with Art and Persona recognition cannot learn the Goblin Secrets on their own and must be taught by another.)
Speak to Blaise in the Loures Library
Nobles with Village or higher recognition in History, Literature, Lore or Philosophy* may learn the Conix Lore.
Learning conix lore is required to be able to collect conix stones from the deepest parts of the Pravat Caves. Conix stones are used during the following quests:
- Danaan Consecration
- Goblin Calling Stone
- Grimlok Calling Stone
- Heart of Stone
- Plamit Army
Once you have learned the Conix Lore you may also teach it to other aislings. This can be done in the Loures Library or on site in the Pravat Caves when a stone is discovered.
You and anyone you teach will remember the Conix Lore for one moon ((3.5 days)). After a moon has passed it must be learned again.
(* Aislings with Art and Persona recognition cannot learn the Conix Lore on their own and must be taught by another.)
Unique subject-specific noble garment sets for Aisling-recognized Artists, Bards, Philosophers, Historians and Lorekeepers may be rented for periods of one double moon for the cost of one noble garment point.
Each is a set, designed by the aisling artist Bentic, and includes a pair of boots, an overcoat and a helm.
They cannot be traded, however they can be banked.
After one double moon has passed the set will be confiscated upon crossing a threshold, but can be rented again at any time for another point.
Aisling-recognized Artists, Bards, Philosophers, Historians and Lorekeepers can have their subject title displayed to others for the price of one noble garment point. ("Artist", "Bard", "Historian", "Lorekeeper", "Philosopher")
((The title will appear next to your character's name on the world list, as well as be displayed
when someone clicks on your character.
Note: The title will be overridden if your character later obtains another title, such as that
of a political office, arena host, etc.
Titles cannot be 'swapped' at will, despite the presence of a down arrow on one's character
screen next to the title field. This functionality was probably planned, but never implemented
in the game.))
Speak to Moire in East Woodlands 20-1 (for Priests, Rogues & Wizards) or Torgny in Abel Crypt 10-2 (for Monks & Warriors). Bring one finished (polished) hy-brasyl fragment
Nobles insight 97 or higher with Aisling recognition can become an Aisling of Hy-brasyl. This gives an aisling the ability to ascend, the circle five (insight 97) armor of their path and a legend mark.
The moment an aisling becomes an Aisling of Hy-brasyl a new star will light up in the sky as well. ((This will be announced in a global world shout; unfortunately, it is not possible to actually see the star in game.))
(Essentially, Aisling of Hy-brasyl is the noble variant of the Aisling of Talgonite quest that most aislings undertake. Note that you can become an Aisling of Hy-brasyl even if you are already an Aisling of Talgonite and/or Mythril.)
(Note: Nobles of the peasant path cannot become an Aisling of Hy-brasyl.)
