The Memory of the Cycle Contest

The Mileth College is pleased to announce the third annual Memory of the Cycle Contest! One first place winner will receive Village Memory recognition, with three runners up receiving Clave Memory recognition.

Contest Details

• Submit your favorite Temuair or Medenia memory from this past cycle (screenshot or frame capture from a screen recording from 2026)
• The memory must be full, original, unaltered and submitted by the aisling who made it

Entrant Requirements

• Entrants must have less than two jail marks and no sgath scars
• Strictly one submission per family (player)
• May not be participating as a judge (including on alts)

To Enter

• Submit your memory to the Mileth College *** STARTING JANUARY 1ST 2027 ****:

     --- Or host the memory online and mail the link to Chancellor Laurier or Chancellor Ramanayan in game
• Entries must be submitted by February 15th, 2027.

Winners

• Winning aisling names will be submitted to Loures (Kru) for final confirmation.
• Once final confirmation is received (a temporary legend mark will appear on your character), visit Alleen, Piet Restaurateur to formally claim your recognition. Recognition will confer a legend mark, experience and political clout.
• Winners will also receive a College Portmanteau from a College Chancellor as a further reward.
• Winning entries will be posted to the Mileth College's Library as well as here.

Memory Recognition

Once a special category of the original Dark Ages contest system (with the highest possible award being village), the last original memory recognitions were made in 2001, after which the category became defunct. While it was active, the memory category saw many memorable moments of early Temuair captured, with a great many ending up in the official Dark Ages website's screenshot section.

In 2025 the memory category was revived by the Mileth College as a special yearly contest.
