I post this art entry today to mark the 160th Deoch since my Aisling spark. ((NagisaChan’s 20th birthday, created and registered on 2006-05-22))

Dear Nobles, I present you my commemorative wall painting

“Three Brave Asilings take on the Shade of Ealagad”

A few Deoches ago, Elimy hosted an art class. Sadly, I don’t exactly remember the topic. But what I do remember is she asked us to talk about experiences in Temuair that stuck with us, that somehow shaped us. Memories that we hold dear. Of the very old experiences I shared in class that day only fragments remain ((sadly no screenshots/recordings)), but I am very fond of those fragments.

Then I remembered that Dylanlan has made a detailed account of one of our Blackstar runs. ((https://youtu.be/SuSs19JoqMI – Thanks a ton!)) This may only be a couple Deoches old, as opposed to the much older ones I spoke of in class, but I hold this one as close to my heart as those from times long gone.

All that combined has led me to the idea: there are many wall paintings/carvings in Lost Ruins that tell the history of that area. That kind of art style, and its story-telling fascinates me. So why not follow the same idea, but telling a story of my own?

I like the idea of imagining some brave distant Aislings in the future uncovering remains of this painting on some ruined wall, much like our generation(s) of Aislings has done in the Lost Ruins.

((For the actual drawing I used mostly Krita. At the end, I used GIMP to combine all characters and add the final effects. I am also posting below the orignal sketches for reference, but they are not part of the entry: Sketches ))
