Times of Troubles Deoch 43 By Deoch 43 the rule of the consuls, lead by the Senior Consul Meizo, had declined. The guild had slowly become increasingly liberal in nature - turning its back on the age old traditions of the guild. New members were of a much different stock then before and many traditionalists saw the guild decline as a whole. In the middle of Deoch 43 Lord Ramanayan stepped in with new reform efforts that were to restore the traditional elements of the guild that had declined. Surprisingly they were meet with open hostility by the current ruling government and many members. Thus began the period known as the “Times
of Troubles” which
lasted for the rest of the deoch.
For several double moons meetings were held with heated debates regarding the
current and future direction of the guild. Eventually an impasse was reached
and diplomacy broke down. |
