I would like to thank all those who aided in our investigation of the assassination of the Loures High Council. While the assassin and his rebel comrades managed to elude us for the time being we now know who they are. The time draws near when we will bring them to justice. When this time comes we will once again call on your assistance.

A new council is in the process of being selected. However, many do not believe this process will be completed for at least another deoch due to continued debate and political infighting. The running of day to day affairs in Loures is being handled by a triumvirate of council leader Jean, General Dealos, and the Burgess of Loures Maximilian.

Grey Council Release Date Confirmed - Name for Raiders of Undine III

The release date for Grey Council has been confirmed as Friday September 8th 2006 at 5:00 PM PST (6 MST, 7 CST, 8 EST). The event will begin at Cedric's Memorial in Loures Harbor. For more details on the event visit it's official site here.

Also the third installment of the Raiders of Undine series now has a name - Raiders of Undine: Chapter III - The Bounty Hunter Wars. Beyond this fact no other details are known of the event except for a tentative December 2006 release date. Let the speculation begin.

New Admissions Procedures - The Vault Opened

As revealed at the most recent guild meeting a new admissions system has been put into place. While vastly different from the most recent system it was used by Novus Imperia during the Golden Age in the deoch 30s. Visit the admissions section for more details.

We're also pleased to announce the opening of a new section of our website - "The Vault". While not related to Novus Imperia this section will contain many various pieces of media, files, etc related to Dark Ages past and present that some may be interested in. Included initially are older and alternate clients, alternate music files, and more.

Grey Council Delayed - Raiders of Undine III Announced!

Novus Imperia's next guild hosted epic event "Grey Council" has been delayed. Citing additional time needed for development guild leader Ramanayan Caesar has stated "Grey Council" will see a release sometime between mid-September and early October 2006. Ramanayan also stated that the long dormant Raiders of Undine event series will be resumed after Grey Council. Tentatively set for a December 2006 release "Raiders of Undine: Chapter III" with be both a continuation of the original series and a direct sequel to "Grey Council" according to Ramanayan.

Grey Council Announced!

Novus Imperia is pleased to announce the next guild epic tentatively titled "Grey Council" has entered into production! What will "Grey Council" be about? No one knows, but guild leader Ramanayan Caesar hinted at the last guild meeting the format will be radically different from previous events. "Grey Council" is set for a late August 2006 release date according to Ramanayan Caesar. We'll keep you posted on any new developments.

Two new members have joined the Novus Imperia guild council recently. They are NeroOmega and Kiomi. NeroOmega holds the newly created position of Minister of Medicine, while Kiomi will receive a position in the upcoming government. Congratulations to them both.

The new Novus Imperia website is now up and running. We have done a big overhaul of the sections and added lots of new information. Guild reforms are coming and many new features will be released soon. Check back for details!

Updates and Future Plans

I am happy to report the times of troubles are over. All the guild members who were against the reforms are no longer members. Novus Imperia is once again running smoothly and accepting new mature role-players as applicants. The council section and joining page have both been updated. Several new guild features are set to be released in the coming weeks and updates to the site made. Among these include a new Novus Imperia Charter, new guild government and military, guild bank, and hall of legends.

Times of Troubles

Recently guild reforms to return Novus Imperia to what it should be in the description above have meet opposition from what a very liberal member base and guild council. The majority of the guild council has resigned as have most liberal members. The guild is in the middle of glorious reforms. Much of the site has been updated to take into account these changes. Regretfully I will be departing Temuair soon - that said I have appointed Theowin as the next guild leader.

New Guild Politician Program

Ramanayan and Novus Imperia are rolling out the first of its role-playing non-arena/hunting programs. These programs will encourage aislings to explore other areas of Temuair aside from the arena and hunting. The first of these programs is the Political Program which will help prospective politicians meet up with others and gain support and help for their efforts. Lord Ramanayan Caesar has triumphantly returned from his command in Western Temuair. With his return heralds the start of massive guild reforms. Currently the ministries, military, and medals have all been removed as new features to replace them are being introduced. The situation in Mileth continues to grow worse. Mileth suffers under the close to total control of a group of aislings who are backed by hordes of hubae/clout slaves. Novus Imperia does not look friendly on these souls - all out war has been just barly averted several times. Recent mundane actions against the leader of this ring however have eased tensions.
