Text of the Novus Imperia Charter:
Novus Imperia Guild Charter (Enacted) I, Lord Gnaeus Ramanayan Caesar, founder and guild leader of Novus Imperia, do hereby enact this charter to maintain peace and order within our guild, Novus Imperia. All members do swear to obey and respect the contents within. Section I Council Duties and Conduct Each guild councilor is appointed by the guild leader and has several responsibilities. The powers of a guild councilor are to admit new members, grant geas, and exile members. The guild council forms the backbone of Novus Imperia and its members should act accordingly. A guild councilor may use his or her judgment when admitting new members into Novus Imperia. However new members must be at least of the 11th insight and not connected to the enemies of Novus Imperia. Exile is only to be used during certain conditions. To prevent favoritism among councils, a guild councilor may -only- exile members whom they have admitted. If the member was initiated by request of the guild leader that does not count. The only exceptions to this are in cases of emergencies. A guild council may -not- exile another council without the express permission of the guild leader. The only exception is in cases of great danger such as mass exiles. Section II Laws In the future Novus Imperia may need to pass more laws in addition to this charter. In such a case the guild leader can add or remove any law at will. Guild councilors and members may write laws for approval by the guild leader. New laws will be posted on the Novus Imperia guild board for all to see. Members are expected to follow laws. The guild leader will deal with the breaking of any laws. Section III Guild Chat and Guild Board Usage All members may use a special tongue to communicate with other guild members at great distances. During use of guild chat members are expected to be respectful and not use this chat for personal conversations (i.e - love, sex, scandals etc). Members may use the guild board to post things relevant in someway to Novus Imperia or useful information for its members. Personal posts are not permitted. The guild leader moderates the board and can remove posts.Section IV Restrictions All Novus Imperia members are expected to support guild actions and help in times of conflict with other organizations (other guilds, towns, and fellowships). During such times members are -forbidden- to support anyone connected to the enemies of Novus Imperia.
