Shadows Rising
And so 25 deochs have passed since the rise of Necromancy.
Five deochs for each of the five horrid creatures capable
of being summoned by the followers of this dark art have
passed. Now whispers are being heard spoken among those
in the world of necromancy that something important will
be happening or something has already happened. But it
is not those aisling necromancers who summon the creatures
that should be the main concern. It is those things that
walk in the shadows behind the dark art, for word has it
their numbers are growing and who they are behind their
cloaks may be even more disturbing.
Not surprisingly the activities of the necromancers
have not gone totally unnoticed. Though not very active
in recent decades the druid order has been keeping a close
eye on the necromancers.
Rumor has it that
both the lesser seen figures of the necromancer and druidic
orders may be seeking servants
who wish to dedicate themselves to assisting the cause.
However finding these men and women can be next to impossible.
Thus it is their apprentices who are the best at recruiting
new servants…
However in recent moons historian and scholar Lord
Ramanayan Caesar has put together many of these rumors
to learn more about the workings of the necromancer and
druid orders and will soon offer this information to aislings.
Lord Ramanayan also clearly stated that this is being done
for purely academic interests and anyone who actually goes
out to seek these mysterious apprentices or the secret
druidic order does so at their own risk…
((Shadows Rising is a two part event. Part one will
be held on Friday March 5th at 6:00 PM PST (7 MST, 8 CST,
9 EST) and will start in Gigean’s Realm next to the
Mileth Sgath Pit. Walk along the outside wall to find the
entrance. Part one will be for those who wish to seek out
the necromancer apprentices.
Part two will be held on Tuesday March 9th at 5:00
PM PST (6 MST, 7 CST, 8 EST) and will be for those who
wish to seek out the druidic order. It will begin in the
druid circle. The entrance to the druid circle is at the
top right hand corner of the enchanted garden in the eastern
woodlands.
Seeking out the “apprentices” is only
a small part of this quest. Once the apprentice is found
and the group accepted then the real adventure will begin.
Unlike previous events this event will not have only one
group as a winner. All the groups that complete the quest
within the allotted time period will eligible for special
positions at future events and possibly other rewards.
Participants can form groups of one to three aislings to
complete the event. No participant can complete both the
necromancer and druidic parts. It is one or the other.
